The Australian Ballet’s new digital season
You might remember the days when Australian Ballet productions could be seen 0n free to air TV.
That faded away but now everything old is new again.
The company has launched of a free cinematic-quality digital season of its previous ballets beginning with The Sleeping Beauty, produced by the company’s artistic director, David McAllister in 2015.
The ballet will stream for two weeks, starting on April 5.
The next ballet will be Alexei Ratmansky’s Cinderella, followed by Graeme Murphy’s Romeo & Juliet and Swan Lake, Coppelia, Manon and more.
You can watch for free and the ‘season’ will last for five months.
